Shaheed Bhai Manbeer Singh Chaheru aka Iqbal Singh aka Hari Singh was born in 1959 at village Chaheru of Kapurthala District in Panjab. His father Sardar Mohinder Singh was a well to do farmer and had lived in the village for generations. Manbeer Singh completed his primary education at his village school and at Kala Bakra, village of his maternal aunt; he completed the 10th grade and then started to assist his father in farming along with his two brothers and continued to do so for next six years. The Indian Government executed Bhai Harjinder Singh Jinda and Bhai Sukhdev Singh Sukha on October 9, 1992 in Pune. They were responsible for punishing General Vaidiya the architect of the 1984 attack on Sri Darbar Sahib. They had tracked him down and shot him dead and in the process, restored the honor and dignity of the Sikh people.

There are many unsung hero’s who laid down their lives for the freedom of Khalistan. Many Singhs did Seva with their mind, body and soul but are unfortunately unheard of today. One shining example is that of Shaheed Bhai Baljinder Singh ‘Raju’, an unsung hero of the Khalistan liberation movement. Bhai Sahib joined the armed struggle for independence and carried out operations alongside the likes of Shaheed Bhai Harjinder Singh ‘Jinda’, Shaheed Bhai Sukhdev Singh ‘Sukha’ and many more freedom fighters of the Khalsa Panth.

Shaheed Bhai Baljinder Singh Pandori

Shaheed Bhai Baljinder Singh was born in the village of Pandori Bibi, district Hoshiarpur. Bhai Baljinder Singh was the only brother of two sisters and grew up in a Sikhi environment and regularly visited Gurdwara Harkowal, where he would go to listen to Kirtan and Katha. Bhai Sahib’s father had had passed away during his childhood, leaving the mother to raise the family, which she did with great love and affection.
