Bhai Gurpal Singh Babbar was born on November 24, 1965. His father is Bhai Jagjit Singh and mother Bhupinder Kaur. Bhai Sahib had one younger brother as well. Bhai Sahib came from a very educated, rich, and prosperous family. Both of Bhai Sahib’s parents were teachers and taught at nearby schools. Bhai Gurpal Singh spent the first five years at Bhucho Mandi with his grandmother. Shaheed Bhai Gurmeet Singh Champion Babbar
Bhai Gurmeet Singh ‘Champion’ Babbar was born on March 23, 1962 to Sardar Sohan Singh and Mata Rattan Kaur in village Saidowal Khurd, district Gurdaspur. Bhai Gurmeet Singh’s great grandfather, Sardar Tarlochan Singh aka Baba Akaliya was arrested, imprisoned and physically tortured during the Jaito Morcha at time of the British occupation. Shaheed Bhai Darshan Singh Aklia Babbar
Amongst the brave Sikh Freedom Fighters hailing from the Malwa region of Punjab, the name of Bhai Darshan Singh Babbar is held in high regard. Bhai Darshan Singh was born on June 17, 1951 in village Aklia Khurd, district Bathinda into the household of Sardar Hazura Singh and Mata Daleep Kaur. Shaheed Bhai Balwinder Singh Jattana Babbar
Since the birth of the Khalsa in the Land of Five Rivers, countless sons and daughters of Punjab have given their lives to protect their freedom, their people and their natural resources.
